Knowledge is reusable source material owned by your organization. A Project can select relevant Knowledge without copying the same document into every Thread.
Add a document
- Open Knowledge at
/knowledge. - Upload a supported document or promote an attachment from a Thread.
- Wait for processing to reach
readybefore relying on it in new work. - Open a Project and select the material its Threads should be able to retrieve.
Read the processing state
| State | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
uploaded | The original file is stored | Wait for processing to begin |
processing | Text and searchable sections are being prepared | Return later to check progress |
ready | The document is searchable | Add it to the intended Project |
partial | Some material is usable, with warnings | Review the warning before relying on it |
failed | Processing did not complete | Correct the source problem or request a reindex |
